Tuesday Morning Bible Study Class book study of “A Skeleton in God’s Closet” by Paul Maier. The assignment for August 14th is chapters 17, 18, & 19.
The visit with Bishop Humphrey has been canceled for Sunday, August 12th and will be rescheduled for a later date. We will send out the new date when it becomes available.

The PRAY GROUND is now open for children ages 3-6 who are learning how to participate in worship with their families. Soft, quiet toys and coloring pages are available for the young ones during moments when they need something to keep their hands busy. Chairs are placed around the perimeter for parents to sit nearby and offer assistance and direction when needed. The nursery is always available for babies and younger children if parents wish to enjoy worship without distractions.
For those of you who may not have heard, Bruce Wincentsen passed away on July 21st. Visitation will be held on Monday, July 30 from 6-8 at Covenant Funeral Home in Stafford. The funeral will be held on Tuesday, July 31 at 10:30 am until 11:30am at St. Peter’s. The burial will be at noon at Quantico National Cemetery. A luncheon will be served back at St. Peter’s after the burial service is completed.

Sadly, Betty Jasmund’s daughter-in-law, Maryann Kirtley, passed away this week after a sudden battle with cancer. The memorial service will be held on Friday, July 13th at 7pm at Covenant Funeral Home by the Stafford Court House. A Celebration of Life will take place on Sunday, July 15th from 2-4pm at the Aquia Harbor Clubhouse.
