For those of you who may not have heard, Bruce Wincentsen passed away on July 21st. Visitation will be held on Monday, July 30 from 6-8 at Covenant Funeral Home in Stafford. The funeral will be held on Tuesday, July 31 at 10:30 am until 11:30am at St. Peter’s. The burial will be at noon at Quantico National Cemetery. A luncheon will be served back at St. Peter’s after the burial service is completed.

Sadly, Betty Jasmund’s daughter-in-law, Maryann Kirtley, passed away this week after a sudden battle with cancer. The memorial service will be held on Friday, July 13th at 7pm at Covenant Funeral Home by the Stafford Court House. A Celebration of Life will take place on Sunday, July 15th from 2-4pm at the Aquia Harbor Clubhouse.
If you have any jackets or other items on the coat rack by the mail boxes, please claim them because the area will be cleaned up during the first week of June.

The Spring training and practice event for the Disaster Reception Center will be held on Monday, March 19th. We will begin notification at 6:30 PM, assemble at 7 and be done by 9. We will go over changes based on last summer’s major exercise and practice using the County radios and computers. Grace Kalil’s visitation service will be held at Covenant in Stafford 4:30 pm-7:30 pm on Friday, February 23rd. Her funeral will be here at St. Peter’s on Saturday, February 24th 11 am followed by a luncheon.
