THERE WILL BE NO SATURDAY NIGHT WORSHIP. Instead, we will have our first Unity Service on Sunday, October 28th at 9 am.
Join us this Saturday, October 6th at 7 pm for a concert by the Russian singing group Lyra. They will sing a beautiful mix of classical compositions and Russian folk songs. There is no cost for the event, but there will be a basket for donations and music CD’s will be available for purchase.
The PRAY GROUND is now open for children ages 3-6 who are learning how to participate in worship with their families. Soft, quiet toys and coloring pages are available for the young ones during moments when they need something to keep their hands busy. Chairs are placed around the perimeter for parents to sit nearby and offer assistance and direction when needed. The nursery is always available for babies and younger children if parents wish to enjoy worship without distractions.
Join us this Sunday as we dedicate the lovely Quilts and prayer shawls that have been crafted by our Quilting guild and will be sent to Lutheran World Relief to help those in need of warmth and comfort.
Don’t forget Daylight Saving Time begins this Sunday! Spring forward one hour.
Save the date for this year’s Seder Dinner on Thursday, March 29th at 6pm. This is the Jewish meal that is celebrated on the Passover with a look into what our Lord Jesus Christ was doing in the night in which he was betrayed. While it is a full sit-down meal, it is also a worship service that will end in Holy Communion. All are invited but you must sign up so that we can prepare the proper amount of food and get the proper amount of wine. The sign up sheet is on the bulletin board next to the Flowers/Communion Elements sign up sheets. If you have any questions or would like to help in the preparation for the Seder Meal, please talk to Pastor Paul.
